Males who have Fragile X Syndrome typically have more severe symptoms than women who have the disorder. In fact, some women who have the disorder may not even show many symptoms at all.
People with this disorder will show a some if not all of the following symptoms:
developmental delays
stuttering
intellectual and learning disabilities
anxiety
autism
impulsiveness
attention problems
social problems
hyperactivity
seizures
depression
difficulty sleeping
There are also a number of physical attributes that a person with Fragile X Syndrome may show. These features generally start to develop when one hits puberty and become more obvious with age.
